NUTRITION
All MorningStar Farms® foods are vegetarian, and most of our Morningstar Farms® foods are vegan. Be sure to look for the Plant Based Food Association (PBFA) logo or the word VEGAN on the package you purchase.
We label in accordance with all requirements. If an allergen is present, the allergen will be clearly included in the ingredient list and in a "Contains" statement. This includes any risk of cross contact from supplier to shelf. If you are concerned about a top nine food allergen and it is not listed in the ingredient list, you can be confident this food is safe for you/your family to enjoy.
Because product recipes can change at any time, always read the ingredient and allergen statement on each package purchased for the most up-to-date information.
MorningStar Farms® foods are not gluten free. Always refer to the ingredient list on your package for information on the product you have purchased.
Most of our foods are Kosher. If a product is Kosher certified, the packaging will contain a symbol as designated by the Rabbinical Council that certified the product. Over time, Kosher certifications may change, so the best way to determine a product's Kosher status is to look at the package. If an item is not Kosher, it may be processed on a shared line with non-Kosher foods.
Yes, we have some products that do not contain soy. For example, our Veggie Dogs and Corn Dogs do not contain soy.
Because product recipes can change at any time, always read the ingredient and allergen statement on each package purchased for the most up-to-date information.
Our natural flavors are derived from natural sources and include ingredients like concentrated fruits, vegetables, and/or spices. We have confirmed that our natural flavors do not include castoreum or any meat ingredients.
We do not add MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) to any of our foods, although there may be ingredients that naturally contain MSG.

PACKAGING
We print a "Best If Used By" date on each package to indicate the date that we guarantee the freshness and quality of our food. The product is still safe to eat after that date, but you might notice a change in texture or flavor. The product's "Best If Used By" date is printed as a series of letters and numbers showing the "Best If Used By" date as well as information about where it was made and when.
