Description

Add crispy wonton wrappers, broccoli slaw, red pepper and chopped onion to MorningStar Farms® Meal Starters™ Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™ to create a hearty stir-fry that is pleasingly out of the ordinary.

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon chile sauce with garlic or chile purée with garlic
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil, divided
6 wonton wrappers, cut into 1/4-inch-wide strips
1 package (12 oz.) MorningStar Farms® Meal Starters® Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch-long julienne strips (about 1 cup)
1/3 cup chopped onion
4 cups broccoli slaw
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro or chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

1. In small bowl stir together water, chile sauce and hoisin sauce. Set aside.

2. In nonstick skillet heat 2 teaspoons of the oil over medium-high heat. Add wonton strips. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from skillet. Set aside.

3. Add remaining 1 teaspoon oil to skillet. Stir in MORNINGSTAR FARMS MEAL STARTERS GRILLERS RECIPE CRUMBLES, red pepper and onion. Cook and stir for 1 minute. Cover skillet. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes more or until hot, stirring once or twice.

4. Stir in hoisin sauce mixture. Add broccoli slaw. Toss until combined. Spoon onto serving plates. Sprinkle each with wonton strips and cilantro. Serve immediately.
